Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming approaches to both cybersecurity and cyberattacks. Today, algorithms help hackers automate phishing, generate realistic deepfakes and launch sophisticated infrastructure attacks. At the same time, AI is creating new opportunities for defenders: from identifying traffic anomalies to anticipating threats.
In light of the increasing prevalence of cyberattacks and the growing role of AI in the digital landscape, we are hosting a practical training session for students. The session will explore how cybersecurity strategies are evolving, the new tools available to defenders, and how to develop your own security strategy in a world where AI poses risks while offering powerful protection.
Who will benefit?
This training is particularly valuable for students interested in modern technologies, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence: those who wish to learn how to protect data from digital threats, receive practical advice and discover current growth opportunities in the IT sector.
Participants will learn about:
- Real examples of AI being used in criminal schemes
- The tools used by security professionals to counteract threats
- How the black market for data operates and why our personal information is valuable
- Practical tips to avoid falling victim to digital fraud.
The following people will share their insights and experience:
- Anastasiia Loban, a cybersecurity expert with over four years of experience in the field
- Mykyta Mudryi, the co-founder of ARIMLABS, responsible for strategic vision in AI security research and product development. He specialises in identifying critical vulnerabilities in AI systems, developing “secure-by-design” methodologies, and scaling R&D operations. His experience includes auditing Fortune 500 infrastructures and contributing to the OSS-Fuzz project.
Date: 6 November (Thursday)
Time: 12:00
Format: Online via Microsoft Teams
