Numerous companies have halted operations, particularly in cities, villages of Ukraine where military actions made further work impossible. However, a study by Gradus Research Company found that in November 2022, 45% of businesses continued to operate, and another 1% even started their own businesses after the outbreak of the war.

Despite the ongoing conflict, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is implementing legislative changes to make easier business operations and regulate labor relations under martial law. It is crucial to strike a reasonable balance that supports businesses and provides essential resources for both the army and citizens during wartime.
