Vira Savchenko

Since 2018, Vira Savchenko has served as CEO of BDO in Ukraine, leading the company’s strategic development, digital transformation, and the implementation of innovative financial solutions, including the application of generative artificial intelligence. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Coordination Council of the Dnipro office of the European Business Association. From 2022 to 2025, Vira was Co-Chair of the Ukraine Recovery Committee of the European Business Association, helping engage the business community in Ukraine’s recovery efforts and aligning corporate expertise with national recovery priorities.

Vira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, a specialization in Finance from the Kyiv Institute of Investment Management, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at IEDC – Bled School of Management and has also completed the Sustainable Recovery for Ukraine leadership programme at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
