Mode of operation of BDO in Ukraine for the period of martial law

February 24, 2022 is a date that changed the history of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian nation forever.

All this time, Ukrainians have been showing extraordinary courage and unity that Ukraine has not seen in all 30 years of its independence. The courage with which we repel all enemy attacks is an example to the world.

We are BDO in Ukraine.

We have been working for the benefit of our country for 25 years and since the first hours of the war we have been helping the Ukrainian nation to defend its borders and its independence.

We continue to pay taxes.
We support our employees and pay salaries ahead of schedule.
We provide additional financial assistance to our employees.
We have set up a fundraising company from BDO's international offices to receive financial assistance from the entire network to be able to continue to provide financial support to the company's employees in Ukraine.
We are transferring funds to help the Ukrainian army and volunteers.
We do not stop paying all Ukrainian counterparties to keep the economy running.
We are negotiating with foreign creditors to amend the payment terms to be able to provide maximum support to our employees and Ukraine as a whole.

BDO in Ukraine continues to operate all these days. All employees, if possible, perform their tasks or help their colleagues. Therefore, if you have any questions, you can always contact an employee of our company with whom you communicate, or write to us at info@bdo.ua. We will certainly respond.

“Under my direct supervision and under my full responsibility for the work of my sector, the payroll sector has been working since 7 am of February 24 without days off. Too much work, as 90% of all our clients have requested the calculation and payment of financial assistance and wages for their employees for several months in advance. And new requests are still coming. We also try to close periods and provide relevant government and management reports, including to foreign colleagues and offices. Whenever possible, we issue invoices and try to reduce the level of anxiety of our clients about possible interruptions in services provision by BDO in Ukraine. Sincere gratitude to all my colleagues for their efforts and willingness to help each other in these difficult times," - said Valeria Linevych, Head of Payroll Sector, who stayed in Kyiv all this time.

Particular pride is the employees of BDO in Ukraine, most of whom are fully or partially involved in volunteering, joined the Territorial Defense and a few brave men voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend their country. Supporting each other is worth a lot today and we are glad we have each other. We will not stop until the last invader leaves our country.

Support each other and remember - EVERYTHING WILL BE UKRAINE!
