BDO in Ukraine and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Join Forces to Support Business Development and Dialogue with Government

BDO in Ukraine and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening professional dialogue between the business community and public authorities, fostering the exchange of expertise, and supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurship. 

The partnership will focus on matters related to tax, investment, and financial policy, the improvement of the business environment, and discussions of current economic and regulatory initiatives.

Key areas of cooperation between BDO in Ukraine and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine

The partnership brings together the professional expertise and practical experience of BDO in Ukraine and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) to support businesses and foster entrepreneurship.

The key areas of cooperation include:

• articipation in professional dialogue between the business community and government institutions; 
• discussion of current tax, investment, and financial policy matters; 
• contribution to the development of economic and regulatory initiatives important to Ukrainian businesses; 
• engagement of experts in working groups, professional events, and expert discussions; 
• support for the creation of a favourable and predictable business environment in Ukraine.

The partnership will focus on addressing the practical challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses and fostering effective cooperation between the business community and public authorities.

Dialogue between business and the State Tax Service of Ukraine

As one of the first practical outcomes of the partnership, representatives of BDO in Ukraine took part in a meeting with Lesia Karnaukh, Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, held in Kyiv in August 2026.

The meeting was organised by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine to provide a platform for direct dialogue between the business community and the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

Discussions covered key aspects of tax administration, the challenges businesses continue to face under wartime conditions, relationships between taxpayers and tax authorities, and potential approaches to addressing systemic issues.

Participants also reviewed practical case studies and current tax administration matters requiring joint attention from both government institutions and the business community.
