BDO in Ukraine awarded winner at RAU Awards 2023

BDO in Ukraine has accepted an invitation to participate in the VI RAU Awards 2023 ceremony of the best companies in the retail and retail real estate sector of Ukraine as an independent auditor and to award the winner of the competition in FEC category.

RAU Awards — is an annual initiative project of the Retail Association of Ukraine, designed to identify the most successful Ukrainian retail and development companies. This year is the VI ceremony. There were 18 nominations in total, and in one of them — namely, in FEC nomination — BDO Ukraine auditor Vladyslav Puhach announced the winner.

The initiative to hold the competition is based on two key components: conducting research and presenting prestigious awards to the best retailers under the category “Retailer of the Year” and the best shopping malls under the category “Best Shopping Center Awards”.

How are the RAU Awards winners selected?

The rating of the best retail companies within the Retailer of the Year project is formed on the basis of voting by market participants, as well as the assessment of the Expert Council, which includes representatives of retail, development and consulting.

The rating of the Best Shopping Malls (Shopping Centre Awards) is based on the assessment of the expert council and voting by market participants.

The voting participants fill in questionnaires online, rate them by the criteria set, and then use a special formula to select the winners of each nomination. The winner of the nomination is the retailer that scored the highest number of scores in the final evaluation in its nomination.

When all the votes are counted, the winners are awarded according to their nominations.
 
This year, BDO in Ukraine was the auditor of the competition, ensuring compliance with all standards in the vote count, ensuring a fair and transparent selection of participants and winners of the RAU Awards 2023. 

At the award ceremony, the representative of BDO in Ukraine announced the winner of the competition in FEC category and presented a customized statuette and gifts from the hosts.
